Halifax-based Clean Valley Bio-Filtration Technologies CIC is collaborating with bio industry partners to create an innovative filter for bio-masks which is expected to be cost-effective, nature-inspired, and non-toxic, making them sustainable and efficient. Their solution will support the fight against the current pandemic as well as other diseases. “Our goal would be to create an antivirus solution, a liquid biofilm that could be applied to any form of PPE here. That would be our end goal because it would be very versatile, it'd be easy to apply, be easy to transport.” said Clean Valley founder Nicholas LaValle

Their mobile-friendly website is designed to give marketing services to help small businesses reach their target customers. “Because we have a growing number of ‘buy local’ and ‘experience local’ followers, you’re going to get a more engaged lead than you would typically on a Facebook ad, for example,” said Co-Founder Melanie Little.
